Head protection means managing impact energy. Many understand it to be about absorbing energy, but Arai believes that's just one part of impact energy management.

The lower the impact energy, the less needs to be absorbed. Arai does that by making a rounder, smoother and stronger outer shells to improve Glancing Off performance and reduce impact energy transferring into the helmet.

The RX-7V EVO, is packed with seven decades of experience and is the new flagship model with proven Arai protection, combined with the ECE R22.06 approval.

It's not just a new model, it's a new benchmark. ECE R22.06 requires a much more stringent testing process than the previous ECE R22.05. 

Arai presented the RX-7V EVO and it gained homologation while maintaining its characteristic round, smooth and strong shell design to 'glance-off' and spread impact forces. Or simply put, by being an Arai RX-7V EVO.

PB-SNC² Shell

Peripherally Belted Structural Net Composite. Arai's proprietary (super fibre belt) peripheral belt, borrowed from their F1 technology, 

maximises shell strength and flexibility while maintaining low weight. Positioned across the top of the eye port, this band allows the use of a thinner EPS liner which greatly enhance the upward field-of-view

- especially appreciated in a full racing tuck! The Structural Net Composite adds a physical bond to the resin bond of the many layers of fibres and reinforcing materials within the shell

VAS V MV Visor

VAS Max Vision shield is standard to provide better visibility in all seasons and for all types of riding. Comes standard with cleaner antifog Pinlock insert to be installed as needed

Chin Curtain

Attached to the bottom of the helmet, the chin curtain helps to further accentuate the egg-shape form. 

The curtain simultaneously block air intrusion from turbulent air below and increases negative pressure to enhance the exhaust function of FFS by drawing more air from the mouth area. The improved airflow reduces noise even further

Antimicrobial Liner Material

Helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin and antibacterial consumption. With the aim of a softer, deeper and even more comfortable fit, Arai developed a softer liner frame material. 

The liner also has adjustable temple padding that allows for a customised fit

Full Support Interior

To offer an even better snug fit and enhancing the comfort to the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds, 

providing the necessary support without excessive pressure
